water inlet valve access

the water inlet valve is leaking-I have the new valve you sent but I can not figure out how to access the valve in the washer. The back panel on the control panel has screws along the top which are accessable but the illustration of the backpanel shows what appears to be three screws which are not easily accessable–what do I have to do to get those screws out so I can replace the valve?? thanks-donf

Insert a screw driver in the gap between the top and front near the edges and you will release clips that hold the front to the cabinet. You can now remove the front, take out the screws that hold the top down and you should get access to the valve assembly. You may also need to take out the screws on the top of the console, don’t have the machine in front of me and my memory is just not as good as it used to be and its late.

thanks for the help–I should have been more patient as I could move the front panel far enough to get a phillips driver on the screws and the rest was easy–but thanks for the response–D

Great, glad you got it fixed, thanks for the update and good luck with your machine in the future.
