My washer is leaking badly and I can see that the hose drain inlet needs to be replaced. The GE technician who helped me identify the part agreed that I could probably do it myself. Could someone please give me advise or instructions? Thank you.
Take off the front panel by inserting a screw driver in the gap beween the front and the top near the edges to release clips that hold the front to the cabinet. You will now have access to what parts you need to change out.
If you click on your model number you will get to exploded views of your model.
Good luck.
Thank you for your help. I hope I am correct in thinking it is an easy part to replace!
I am not sure exactly what part you will have to replace, but generally the GE parts are accessible once you get the front panel off. Sometimes it’s a tight fit.
