I have a top load Estate washer. Should the water level fill to the SAME height right before rinse cycle as the water level height at the beginning of the wash cycle (whatever the setting is on, low med high)? Thanks:confused:
What is the washer model number?
Eric
It is a Estate washer model ETW4400XQ
Yes, this is normal operation on this washer. It uses a separate water level pressure switch for rinse. The one for wash is user adjustable via the knob, the other for rinse is not. This is to comply with government water and energy level requirements as is the fact that rinse water is cold water only.

Eric, it fills to the low water level right before the rinse cycle no matter if you have on low, med or high. What would cause this. It seems all of soap is not getting out of clothes on high water setting. But on wash cycle it fills correctly.
As I said, this is normal operation. It is done that way to save water. Of course, your not saving any water if you have to run another rinse cycle to get the soap out. Nothing you can do about it.

THANKS very much!
