The ice machine was overflowing water through the dispenser in the door. I replaced the water supply valve a week or two ago (bought a new valve from appliancepartspro along with a few other replacement parts) and after installation, the ice chest worked intermittently until today, when I heard the valve open but did not shut off and water started overflowing through the dispenser again.
Could the water supply valve have failed that quickly, or been defective? Could the ice maker be sending the wrong signal, keeping the valve open?
