What next?

Hi all,

My washer started leaking from underneath the outer tub. Water is comming from the middle where the shaft goes up into the tub. I removed the agitator, drive bell, and the inner stainless tub. Now I am looking at the splined shaft which has a rubber "boot" around it, which sits right above the lint filter. My question is how do I continue my disassembly? I expect the leak is underneath the lint filter but I don’t want to go prying on anything until I’m sure what to do next. I’m guessing a hub and seal kit might fix my issue but I won’t know until I delve deeper. How do I remove the rubber "boot" and lint filter?

Sorry for the delay, us servicers are very busy.
You can go to %url% for info on this washer. Rather involved procedure for the tub bearing and seal replacement and you will need a special puller to remove the bearing.
Us servicers whince when we see this as it would eat up a lot of time to fiw while the washer is not worth the amount of labor cost to fix.
