DISREGARD, if this happened to post. I can’t tell.
I found the fricking info on a little plastic tag, not a metal plate as I was expecting!
I guess I need to catch up with "technology?"

We have a Hotpoint electric dryer that’s roughly 10 years old. Where the **** do we find the manufacturer’s info on the thing!?!?!? I cannot find an "ID plate" anywhere on the thing! The problem is that the "high temperature" element has not worked for years, but we have done fine with the lower temps.

NOW we have a specific need for high temps, and can’t identify what model the **** thing is! This is fairly a urgent situation, any suggestions are welcome.
I have searched the drum, door and door frame, and the entire outside except the bottom. Come to think of it, I should probably do that, huh?
PLEASE, anybody that can tell me where that info is. Oh yeas, and the owners manual is lost, of course.
