How do I replace the dryer belt in my dryer?
Pull out the lint screen and take out the two screws under the lint screen cover. Then insert a screw driver in the gap between the top and front near the edges and pry up to release the top which will flip up.
You can now take off the front panel, disconnect the door switch and you have access to the drum. Put the new belt on, ribs down and put it around the pulley (see the diagrams at the top of this page) put it back together and you are all set.
