I have a Maytag dishwasher Model#DWU9200AAX bought in 1993 and need to replace the pump seal and all lower gaskets/seals due to drip leakage. I have not disassembled the unit as it can limp along until I get parts to do the complete repair.
The question is whether the pump seal is the spring reinforced type or not. From parts breakdown:
