This has an electronic ignition. I took the bottom drawer out and can see a red wire that comes in from the left that’s been pulled loose and is not connected to anything. The wire has a small connector still attached to the end that looks like it slides over something. The three colored wires for the broil, bake and whatever that come in from the right are all connected and the broiler and burners are all working.
I had a fat mouse hopping around in there (now deceased) and maybe he/she pulled the red wire loose. It’s not chewed and the connector at the bottom is intact. I hate to call a repairman out at $125 a pop to connect this to something, but I do need to know what it goes on. I can’t find any good pictures and especially not good colored pictures of this part of the oven.
The broil and burners all ignite after clicking, the oven clicks a couple of times and just stops. The only thing I could see that it would remotely slide over to connect is a white battery shaped thing with a silver thing at the bottom, but apparently that’s not it as it won’t even click when that’s connected.
Could someone give me some advice, before I lose the screws or blow myself up.
Thanks.
