Whirlpool Dishwasher Control Panel Lights All On

1.5 year old dishwasher. Starts fine, seems to run but when I go to check the status, all the buttons on the control panel are lit. I have to kill power via the breaker and turn it back on to get it to respond. Will run a wash and it will end (after washing) with the same lit up and unresponsive control panel. I did notice a sound during the wash like something was loose inside the dish area, but could never figure out where the knocking sound was coming from.

Thoughts?
