Dryer recently stopped heating. Plenty of airflow and have replaced the element. Have reset the breaker. Noticed some time ago that if the heat selector switch were set to high, that the dryer failed to dry clothes, but worked fine on medium and low. Wondering if the switch might be bad, or if it is more likely a thermostat? Suggestions?
Check the temperature switch resistance. It should be about 10 Ohms on the lowest setting and about 10K Ohms on the highest setting.
