Several days ago my dryer started to fail to operate intermittently. I resorted to trying again a few hours later with limited success. The control panel lights would work and the digits displayed but there was no change when pushing buttons or rotating the cycle selector knob. But now it acts like it has no power at the control. No breakers tripped and the drum light illuminates so it is getting power. When attempting the diagnostic check the panel is dead. There are no lights and the display digits remain off. Again, it acts as if there is no power. Since I can’t perform the diagnostics I’m unable to troubleshoot. Do you have any suggestions as to what the cause is?
