I have a Whirlpool Duet GEW9250PW1 that is 7-8 years old. I’ve recently started having a problem with it when I try to turn it on. When I press the Control On button the only thing that happens is that the Casual and Timed Dry LED’s light up very dim. Whenever I hold down the Control on button it locks & unlocks the controls. Whenever I run the diagnostic mode everything seems to be working properly…including the control on button. I have been able to get it to run complete cycles after I press enough buttons and curse at it enough. Any suggestions as to why this is happening? and how to fix it?
