My washer filled and then just started making a humming sound. When I turn knob to an agitation cycle it makes a louder hum with a slgiht grind sound. when knob is in spin cycle it just hums. My wife said she smelled something when it first happened. I tried bypassing the lid switch, but that doesn’t seem to be the problem. Do you have any other suggestions?
