I have a Whirlpool Gold side-by-side refrigerator with an ice maker in the door, which stopped making ice recently.
I can use a jumper in the IceMaker control module to cause water to come out so I don’t think it is a water problem, and there is ice in the tray.
I’ve replaced the IceMaker control module thinking the motor might be bad, but that did not fix the problem.
The diagnostic test for the Optics is good, although it was suggested to me that he emitters are probably bad, so I replaced them both as well and I noted no change. The LED indicator is solid red when testing.
The switch for the light in the freezer turns the light off and on when pressed.
I cannot find a way to cause the harvest cycle to go, however. The harvest not happening seems to be the problem. Any suggestions on what to try would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
