Whirlpool Quiet Partner II - Not draining

This dishwasher is not draining. When it is time to drain or the camcel/drain button is pushed, the pump runs but is just moving water around in the dishwasher (i.e. water is coing up through holes in the wash arm).

Could someone please point me in the proper direction as to how to diagnose the problem?

Did not get a reply here. I replaced a check valve and its been running flawlessly ever since.
