If anyone can help I will appreciate it SO much! I hired a repair guy to come fix my washer because it wasn’t spinning. He decided it needed it needed a new transmission and clutch (clutch optional but recommended). Well he replaced them and the washer physcially works, however when the spin cycle starts up for 5 -10 seconds it sounds like it’s going to blow up. There’s a metal on metal grinding/squealing sound and even he can’t figure out why. He’s replaced the clutch he just put in and the drive block. Now he’s trying to tell me that there is possibly dirt in the brake. I know he’s full of it…anyone that can help, please do! thanks in advance!
A little dirt shouldn’t do that but an improper clutch installation would.
