Whirlpool washer problem

We have a two year old Whirlpool Cabrio top loader Model Number WTW6300SW0. It won’t spin or agitate. Got an F50 fault code and one F41 saved code. Ran through all the diagnostics and replaced the RPS sensor and wiring harness. Still no difference. Diagnostics point to replacing the machine motor control assembly, but who knows if that will work. Any thoughts? I don’t want to keep replacing things on this computer controlled machine that’s only two years old. Any idea on what the problem is? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The problem is that for some reason manufacturers decided to put microprocessors in appliances. What do microprocessor not like; moisture, heat and vibration. What does a washer have???

Take a look at test #3 in the service manual and see if that will help.

I already ran through test #3. That’s how I got to replacing the RPS sensor. Now it says if that doesn’t work I should replace the motor control unit. I’m trying to avoid an expensive bunch of trial and error.
