My Whirlpool washer simply stops at one or two points in the cycle, but resumes normal working when I advance the timer, even if only by the smallest bit possible. The problem usually occurs in the middle of the drain cycle. The timer is no longer available, but is there another part that might be the problem? It’s not the lid switch. If it’s the timer, where can I get one?
