Washer filled with water, then stopped. Played with the timer knob and nothing happened. I unplugged the lid switch, then replugged. When I pulled the timer knob, washer started filling with water, but after a few seconds, the water stopped flowing, and the washer stopped operating again.
Our Washer has developed multiple problems. First, while agitating, the tub rotates and causes a whirlpool inside. Second, while in spin mode, she sounds like a bearing may be out, or that lift-off is imminent. Finally, there is a water leak right at the bottom center of the tub.
Ouch…anyway, advice and a parts list are needed.
I would recommend to use the Washer Magic cleaner instead of taking the washer apart. It works very good (I used it at home) and if you will use it periodically, your clothes will always smell fresh.
