Whirlpool WED7500VW : Runs if Power and Start pressed together!

Hi

The dryer runs only when Power and Start button pressed together! On press+hold of power, I can see the red led blink. Manual says its reset. start button doesn’t work by itself, either short press or press+hold.

Seems it was a faulty power switch. The contacts had melted and plastic was all melted in. Works after replacement
