Hi everyone. New to the forum and it looks like a good site. I repair everything myself and wondered if someone could point me in the right direction. My washer works great but it just started not dispensing the softener. Any quirks or what commonly goes bad with this machine? What controls the softener dispenser? Where should I start?

Okay I fixed my problem and feel alittle stupid. I downloaded the owners manual thinking what is this going to tell me that I do not already know. Well it told me that you remove the top and clean the dispenser after EVERY use. I can tell you from experience that you need to clean it around 7-8 years. Because that is how long it’s been for me. Sometimes you need to KISS a problem.(keep it simple stupid). Hope this helps somebody.
