Machine will fill up and run normally for the wash cycle but when it comes to the rince cycle it just sits there doing nothing when it should be filling. If I let it continue it will eventually start to agitate without any water in the tub. If I notice it has stopped and is just sitting there (when it is suppose to be filling) and turn the "water lever" knob to "reset" and backt to the level I want it will fill normally and then continue with its cycle. I will have to do this again in the second rinse cycle if I have chosen to activate that feature. If I start another load right after the first load is done it does the same thing. The wash cycle fills up and runs normally untill it is suppose to start the fill on the rince cycle and I have to again turn the "water level" knob to "reset" and back to the level I want and then it fills and runs normally untill the next rinse cycle.
Since it will mechanically through the wash cycle it would seem the timer is messed up in some way.
I would disconnect the wires and clean them with a good contact cleaner, but if that does not fix things, and it probably won’t, try replacing the timer.
