Access & Removal of mixing valve

How do I access and remove the mixing valve: rear panel or top? :o

You have to pull the washer out to gain access from the back and from the front. Remove the front panel. Remove the screw on each top corner holding the top panel. Remove the screw holding the valve bracket on the back.
