On the Drain/Spin cycle, washer will pump the water out, rotate left and then right 2 or 3 times then beep several times and the control panel goes dark. Verified lock light is lit and door is locked. Any ideas on what is causing the high speed spin to fail when the agitation is working?

Sure sounds like the door switch. I’d try out the tests related to the switch to determine if you have a bad switch or control board.
