Hello I bought a Amana washer I was told that it was the drive belt needed to be replaced. The washer will not turn not sure if this is the problem please help thank you
With the power off, take off the service access panel and front panel and see if the drive pulley turns freely. You can also inspect the belt and see if it is ok, and if the motor turns freely. Also check the pump to see that nothing is obstructing it.
