Bake burner won’t ignite (has spark) broil burner ignites. Replaced bake burner assembly, same problem. Replaced gas distribution valve, same problem. New gas distribution valve checked ok. Went through trouble shooting guide, had 120 VAC on both bake (J1-4, J1-6) and broil (J1-4, J1-7) terminals. Checked ERC, had 19.1 VDC on bake terminals J1-1, J1-2 but had no reading on the broil terminals J1-2, J1-3. Guide says my test shows the DSI control is bad. Put in a new DSI control and same problem, almost identical readings. HELP!!!
Thanks Gene. Am traveling and will give it a try in a couple days and let you know if it worked. I have another question… since the broil and bake burners work identically, can I switch the wires on the gas distribution valve, using clips to connect the wires, to see if now the bake burner works and the broil burner doesn’t?
You can verify if the problem is a bad bake burner by switching the blue (P2-2) and red (P2-4) on the control board only (per the wiring diagram).
Gene.
Will give it a try and let you know. Thanks for the info, Gene.
Looks like the problem is a bad main control board (12 on the break down diagram).
In order to provide the right part number for the control board I need the color of the control panel.
Gene.
Thanks Gene. Your help’s been much appreciated.
Keep us posted.

My GE Advantium 120 started to make a noise like there was a motor spinning but there was no air movement from the vent. The vent hi/low works fine and the noise is still there when using the vent fan. I can make the noise go away when I use the warm/reheat button for a couple of seconds low power, either moist or crisp setting. When I cancel the cook time the noise stops for a few minutes. Maybe 10 minutes? Any suggestions?
Thanks for your help.
