chronic repairs

I burned up the controller board on my dryer a year ago.
Some weeks after I replaced the board I started a series of other problems.

The first problem was that the dryer wouldn’t start. I fixed that problem by replacing the thermofuse. But the problem keeps recurring. I have replaced that thermosfuse three times now. I also checked all the airways from the drum to the outside of the building. It is clear.

This last time I went ahead and replaced the internal bias and the hi-limit thermostat for good measure. But now just a week or so later, my dryer has quit again. Only this time is different. Now the dryer will start and run through the cycle, but there’s no heat. So I’m guessing this is not the thermofuse, but more like the hi-limit.

But I’m really just guessing out of frustration.
