We have a top load washer that has been making a clicking/grinding noise for the last week or so. It still cycles fine…just makes a VERY annoying noise. Any ideas?
It is very hard for us to diagnose a noise because we really need to be there to hear it. Also you do not say if it is during the agitation cycle, the spin cycle or both.
I would open up the machine and run it and see if you can determine the location of the noise. Also check to make sure nothing is caught in the pump or between the tub and basket.
