Cold Water not running on Maytag MAV6000AWW

Hello,

I just shotgunned out the hot/cold water inlet solenoid combo and that did not fix the problem.

My next guess is the temp control board but would like do any additional isolation before shotgunning the next part ;0)

Currently the cold water will not turn on, hot works OK.

I tried swapping the pink and purple wires from the temp select switch and with the wires swapped selecting cold caused the hot water to turn on. Selecting hot the cold would not turn on. This seems to imply that the temp switch is ok.

Any other things to try out?

Also your temp control board looks different then the 10/22/98 date stamp temp control board in the washer so I wanted to make sure the new board will fit.

With a meter you should be able to check it out.

I cannot really comment on why the temp. control board looks different.
Click on the picture to get a better view. What is important is the connector on the board (11 pin) and the boards size/mounting holes.
It is possible this unit is a late run unit and they changed to a digital board (19 pin).
