Ice dispenser came on all by itself and dumped ice all over kitchen floor until freezer door open and I shut off icemaker power switch. Unable to change modes on the electronic control panel (p/n WR55X10910), so thought the panel had gone bad. Ordered a new one (it’s a $400 part) and installed it; no help - panel is locked up as before. Grrr…
I’m unable to change any of the modes - ice/water dispenser, light, control lock. Suggestions on what to do next? It looks like the old control panel is not the problem, so I’m hoping to be able to return the new one I just bought.
