I believe my control panel needs to be replaced on my 16 year old GE Profile Refridgerator. Several months ago, when I would move the slide from water to crushed or cubed ice, neither would work. When I jiggled the slide slightly near the crushed or cubed ice mark, I initially was able to get the ice; however, as time went on, I could no longer get any ice coming from the dispenser. I am still able to get water and the light switch still works; however, still no crushed or cubed ice. Inside the freezer, the ice machine still makes the ice; however, I cannot get it to dispense any of it. Again, I think all I have to do is replace the control board. Could it be anything else or does it appear that it is the control board
Sounds like the control board is the culprit.

The ice maker works, however there is negative response when I slide from cubes to crushed to water. Nothing happens. Also, the light does not respond. Do I need the dispenser control board replaced?
