Control touch pad not working

Maytag MDE5500AZW Dryer. The digital control panel touch pad doesn’t light up at all. I have checked the continuity of the 2 thermal fuses and the door switch, which is good. The moisture sensor does not have continuity when tested. The motor seems to spin freely when I spin it by hand. The lint filter was fairly full of lint about 1/4 inch when I removed it. The dryer was working fine. I had put a small load in to dry using the moisture sensor setting. I forgot about it for a while so I decided to dry it for another 10 minutes so that I could hang the clothes and do less pressing. My wife tried to start it today and the control panel touch pad would not light up at all. Any thoughts in what could be wrong?

The fuses/thermostats should not kill power to the board.

Check te power.

Try flipping the breaker off/on slowly a couple times. Sometimes you can loose half the line without actually tripping the breaker.
Check the voltage at the wall receptacle
L1 to L2 should be 240 volts
L1 to Neutral and L2 to Neutral, both should be 120 volts.
If OK
Unplug the unit and check the wires at the terminal strip in the machine to make sure none are loose or burned out
If OK
Check the power at the terminal strip.
Do this with the heater off and on.
Be careful as 240 volts is lethal !!!
