Hi, I have a problem with seperating the inner drum from the outer drum. (4 bolts out under agitator)
have the two drums still attach to trans= can’t seperate???

If you already removed the four mounting screws (bolts) then there is nothing else what can hold the inner tub.

Ok, thats what I thought, Im confussed? It won’t come off… I scared I’m going to break the Plastic drums… I have hit the bottum of outer drum with a rubber mallet!!! Don’t know of any way to get in and pry it off between the drums

I bought it brand new and is never been apart…
thank you for your imput and any more suggestions??? I’m lost how to pull it off…

 I removed on inside of inner tub /4bolts (#2) and also tried the 6 screws (#3) on the outer tub.

 The Reason I did this is I thought the transmission might be bad!!!
the motor works in all cylcles without the belt and the tube fills with water and water empty’s with the belt on. just doesn’t run in wash cycle just a slight humming noise, seems to spin?
Getting fustrated with it!!! and with the price of a trans might force
me to buy a new one…:frowning:
