Dryer kept stopping mid-cycle and now will not start

So my Kenmore 29 inch electric dryer had recently started acting funny by stopping after only about 10 minutes of drying. The amount of time it would dry got shorter and shorter, probably down to only a couple minutes of drying. When it would shut down after drying only a couple minutes, EVERYTHING would stop (timer wouldn’t tick, motor wouldn’t buzz, absolutely no function), and now it will not start at all, no noises, no function, nothing. After testing for continuity on the start switch, door switch, timer, and thermal fuse, I figured the motor had slowly went out and, with my husbands help, replaced the motor and blower wheel. Even after putting in the new motor and hooking all the working pieces back up, it will still not start. I thought maybe there was something wrong with the electrical outlet or power source, so we tested for AC voltage at the outlet and didn’t get any readings. I figured we tested the outlet wrong because we tested the AC voltage at the 3-wired electrical block that attaches to the dryer and got a 240 volt reading. I don’t know that much about electrical stuff. Could I still have an electrical problem? Is there anything else that could be causing my dryer not to work that I might’ve missed?
