I’ve had a problem with my dryer no light inside and won’t start. When i checked the voltage at the screws on the dryer one side to neutral was 120 the other side was 110. Then hot to hot was 240. So i assumed it was the dryer i got a new one from rent a center same thing when they brought it. They put their outlet tester on it. It looked like a 240 plug with two lights on it and one light was bright and the other flickered. They told me my outlet was bad so i replaced it. Still nothing so i replaced the breaker. That did not fix it either. I don’t have any other ideas. I know the screws aren’t loose because i had to reattach the wires on outlet and breaker. Could it be the wiring between the two? That didn’t seem likely to me because it’s getting voltage just not quite enough on the one side. Thanks for any help.
