No power to Dryer but Have 240 at plug??

Friend of mine just moved in to her new house and had she asked me to change out the 4 wire type plug to a 3 wire. I did and have done this before with no problems, but now the Dyer dosn’t get any power to the control pannel. I pull the board and did a continuity test on just about every thing I could and still nothing.

Here is the weird part I get tone from the neutral lead on the plug to the 120 lead on the left that’s the one that has the blue wires going to the terminal block.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Did you change the cord on the dryer or the plug on the wall? The correct way to convert a dryer is to change the cord on the dryer rather than the plug on the wall. If you did change the plug change it back and change the cord on the dryer. Questions About Dryers

Sorry yes I change the wire on the dryer only not the wall plug.

tested both legs of the wall plug and its 120 on each.
