Dryer works fine, but no heat. I am a rookie in the repair world but don’t want to buy a new dryer, its got to be something that can be fixed.
any help is appreciated
Remove the back of the dryer. There is a fuse with two wires going to it that should be near the top of the tube in which the element is housed. Take a wire off one side of the fuse and put an ohm meter on it. If you do not get a reading, then replace the fuse and the thermostat at the bottom of the element box as well. This should come as a kit. Not very expensive.
