I got an F1 error code on my GE JGSP31 Gas Stove. The manual said to turn the switch off on the electric control panel for at least one hour. If the error message returned when we switched it on again, we had to call for service. The error message reappeared after an hour, and we called for service.
We were told the replacement part has been discontinued. Because the error message beeped as well as flashed, we left the control panel switch off. Just to test the stove again, we turned the switch on after 2 weeks and the error message was gone and all functions on the stove worked properly. But then after using the stove for two weeks, the error message has reappeared. Appliancepartsnationwide.com says they have the replacement part. What should I do?
