F1 failure code in self clean mode only

I have a range that displays F1 error code ONLY when in self cleaning mode after 1 1/2 hrs. Otherwise range works perfectly. When attempting to buy EOC part on ApplianceParts website, there are similar model numbers as PLCS389DCB but none exact. This slide-in range has a gas stove top with an electric convection oven. Is this a special oven and I have to get part from manufacturer? Or can you recommend other vendors?
Thanks!

F1 Electronic oven control failure Replace electronic oven control (also called EOC or clock).

They are pretty accurate but you have to know how to understand them.

I need the complete model number of the product.
Post it as a new thread, please.

I’m going to try to repair this. Because of the tight fit, I’d rather not slide out this unit to repair it if I don’t have to. To access the EOC and inspect wiring harness, could I just remove the top? Is this possible?
Are there disassembly instructions available somewhere?

if you goto Frigidaire.com, usually somewhere around the customer support tab, there is a way to get manuals for most models ( have exact model # )

What would cause a short frost pattern in the evaporator behind the rear panel in the freezer?

Need more info.

Is the freezer compartment all frosted up?
If so, and the Evap. fan motor is working, then you have a defrost issue. Either timer, termination stat, or heater element.
If your compressor is trying to start, but humming and clicking, then it is bad.
If your compressor is running but quieter that normal, then you most likely have a sealed system issue.
Is the condenser fan in the back working?
Condenser coil clean and not full of animal hair?

Is the fan in the freezer working?

I replaced the heating element on the dryer. When I tried to start the dryer gave a click, the breaker tripped and the dryer cut off. After restoring the breaker I started the dryer and all it now does is hum.

Can you please suggest what may be the problem.

Thanks Gene for all the info. I have the same range that has had exactly the same problem since I bought it in 2005. The first time this happened my appliance guy had me kill the breaker for about 2 hours (long enough for the panel to cool off), which cleared the problem. Every time I clean the oven I let the cycle run until the error hits and then kill power. My range is a slide in with a very tight fit, so I have been just living with the nuisance. I have been assuming the panel is a little computer and the model had a faulty design that causes the processor to overheat during cleaning cycle.

Can you tell me if this is dangerous?

What is the complete model number of the range?
