The refrigarator does not cool. After about 12 hours the refrigarator temperature goes up the freezer about to 52 the bottom about 54 degrees. Can you give me an idea of what can be wrong.

While attemping to set clock back from daylight savings time the above code appeared on a Madic Chef Range and can not use oven. What has to done?

Ron, press and hold the CLOCK button for about 5 seconds. That should turn off the Sabbath mode and get rid of the code.

Frigidaire has recently come out with new error codes, including F13. We’ll update our code page shortly.

F13 stands for "Bad EEPROM Identification/Checksum error". If power cycling does not help, replace the electronic oven control. You can enter your oven model number here http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/ and see price and availability for the control.

Hi Gene,

Need further explanation on the definition of the F9 code - Door Latch. It says to check the door latch components. My stove door is locked. I tried turning the breaker off for a little over 2 minutes and turning it back on. That did not help. Do have any other advice on checking the door compenents? Thanks Mar

In order to provide the most accurate advise I need the complete model number of the range.

To unlock the door you can try to start the self clean as usual and then cancel it after 3 minutes. Sometime it works.

Interestingly before I bought a replacement I turned off the power and took the control off, just to see how easy it was. When the power is off for 5 minutes or so it does reset the error code. We’ve had it back twice, but not recently.

Reseting power for a few minutes helps to eliminate about 15% of electronic control problems.

Most likely the problem with your range is a bad Electronic Range Control (ERC) which has to be replaced.

The problem with your oven caused by one or more stuck pads on the control panel.

Jane,

The "F3" error code means the oven temperature sensor (#14 on the [AP2831584](http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?diagram_id=193848&&model_id=232779"]break down diagram[/URL]) is "open".

Locate the sensor plug at the control board and measure the sensor resistance. It suppose to be about 1100 Ohms at the room temperature.

If the reading is wrong then you have to pull the range, remove the rear cover and measure the sensor resistance at the sensor plug.

If the reading is wrong - replace the oven temperature sensor.

If the reading is correct - check the wire harness.

If the sensor resistance at the control board is correct then check the plug and if there is nothing wrong - the control board has to be replaced.

The control board (aka clock) is no longer available.

Ice maker not getting water,water dispenser working.Replaced water valve [AP2115312] AND ICE MAKER [AP3160597] and still not getting water to ice maker.Checked filter and tubing also.Any advise?THANK YOU
