Fabric Dispenser Will No Longer Work

Frigidaire (front load)Tumble Action Washer, Model GLTF1670AS0, No longer will dispense fabric softner. Anyone have an idea on what to do? We have removed the dispenser drawerer and inserts. Have cleaned them off. Have also cleaned off the areas that they were connected to. Have even attempted to run only hot water throught the fabric softner dispenser and it will not cycle through. :confused:

Also is there a way to remove the top of the washer so the indispenser inserts can be cleaner better than with a tooth brush as the instruction manual indicates?

Before this problem started the washer would run 2 minutes then stop. We would have to re-press the start button to finish the cycle. After about six weeks this issue stopped. Been weeks that the cycle has run completely through.
During the time the fabric softener stopped dispensing the liquid. Well it stays watery so some must be going somewhere but the dish is never empty.
I too have cleaned the shoot and any access available.
Stumped and also looking for a solution.:confused:
