lights ,and fan working. you hear a click from a black and white swith mounted on the side of a big black round ball with refrigerant tubes attached to it with a black and a blue wire connected to it. then theres a humm for about 5 seconds then it clicks off. nothing cooling. help please
yeah i agree 95% of the time replacing the start relay will fix that problem
thanks for all your help and advise. great sight to check out. i bought the stater relay and capasitor, installed it, but no luck. it would of been a fast and cheep fix($ 34.00 ). i had a feeling that the compressor was an issue. any idea how much the job goes for and is it worth it ? can i do it ?
This is probably a compressor burnout, big bucks to fix, $500 or more, no way is any fridg worth it unless a Sub Zero.
