My fridge/freezer is constantly running – not always - but a lot. It will come on, shut off and then turn right back on again. I have vacuumed the back and underneath the fridge but that didn’t help. Any suggestions?

The temp is about 8 degrees. The thermometer has been in there for about 2 hours.
That temperature is a bit marginal. Remove freezer back panel and check frost pattern. Is it heavily coated with frost over the entire evaporator area. Post results.
I checked it this morning and it showed that it was about 2 below… I’m not at home right now – but are you talking about the back of the freezer in the back of the appliance or does the back wall of freezer come off from the inside? Thanks.
