Frigidaire Affinity pausing during cycles

I just bought a used Frigidaire Affinity washer (ATF6000SF2) and dryer that are four years old. They worked fine when I bought them.

The issue I am having is that the cold water will not pump into the tub and the machine seems to be pausing during cycles, during what I suspect when the cold water should be dispensing.

The water pressure is fine and I am not sure of what to do next.

Obviously the first thing to do is to check for any blockage. Take off the cold water hose and make sure there is nothing blocking the valve. Then take off the top and check the lines into the washer.

If they are clear, and they probably are, then use a meter to see if current is getting to the valve assembly when it calls for cold water. If so the problem is in the valve assembly. If not the problem may be in the control unit.

Well, I am a little embarrassed, but thrilled. It was just a clogged hose. Somehow dirt or something got in there on the trip and that was it.
