Hopefully I’m posting this properly. I have a Frigidaire electric dryer of an unknown model. It is a typical front-loader with basic controls. The model info was printed just inside of the door in a spot where the clothes are loaded and unloaded, so it has all rubbed off. Is there anywhere else where I can find out this info? Maybe some kind of wiring pamphlet or something hidden in the dryer?
This is the exact dryer type that I have: https://i.ibb.co/b2HN2wW/20201031-135945.jpg
It has been good and I have changed out a thermostat on it before. It is quiet when I first turn it on, then after about 5-10 minutes of turning it on, it starts having a low vibration that gradually gets loud and heavier the longer it is on. After a few minutes of it starting with a low vibrating sound, it turns into a terrible vibrating sound that shakes the whole dryer. There is no squeaking or thumping.
When the dryer is turned on and hasn’t been on for hours, I have filmed the motor and belt and they were running smoothly with no issues seen. However, when I looked at the motor and belt when the vibrating sound is loud, I see that the belt is vibrating very heavily in a pattern like 2-3 seconds apart each time. The belt visibly shakes above the motor and is doing what a guitar string does, which I’m thinking may be part of or maybe even the whole cause of the noise of vibrating.
Here’s a http://www.fileconvoy.com/gf.php?id=ga9f035150cd993a61000293902.1453530fbd48013fadae960&sts=1604281009166137248976955ad8f6af39d700c92f3dcfc079bbb, if I’m allow to post that here.
It may look like a funny URL, but it leads directly to a harmless .mp4 file of the dryer motor, pulleys and belt vibrating.
Can anyone give me an idea of what this might be causing this?
