Washer runs through all the cycles, just won’t spin. Took the washer to repair shop. They ran diagnostics and decided the control board needed to be replaced. Is this something that I could replace and install?
Yes, but just so you know the diagnostics on these machines are not perfect.
Since you did not post a model number I am assuming you have a typical Frigidaire front loader. Take off the bottom service panel to find some tech notes. Take off the top to replace your control unit.
