I have a Kenmore oven that appears to be experiencing a problem. When I turn the oven on bake, the heating element will light and the gas will flow through the tube. Once the flame starts, you can hear the gas flowing to the burner. This is when the problem starts. The flame begins to pulsate as if the gas is not continueously flowing. the flame seems to be sputtering.
I turned the bottom element off of bake and set the oven to broil. Everything appears to be working fine when in this setting.
I did check to see if any of the flame holes were blocked. They all appear to be open.
The model number you posted does not come up. Verify and repost it.

Could it be the Pressure regulator or the the gas value. There is no problem with the Broiler or the top burners, just the bottom of the oven. It sounds as if the gas is not flowing continuously to the bottom burner. :o
