just bought this washer off craigs list. it fills and drains but won’t spin or agitate. took off front cover and noticed a blinking light on the control board, it flashes 7 times then pauses and repeats. any ideas? cycled power a couple times and tried a few different cycles and still no luck.
7 flashes means lid switch problem. Either the lid hasn’t been opened routinely or the switch is faulty. The circuit board on top of the motor has a microcomputer that, among other things, monitors the lid switch and if it doesn’t detect it opening/closing after a couple wash cycles, it will prevent the motor from operating.
