GE washer not advancing

The Washer starts to fill, starts a slow spin, the motor runs, the pulley spins but won’t advance to next cycle. I blew air into the tube leading from the level control and washer advanced to the next cycle. Once I stopped blowing air, the washer returns to fill cycle. Is the water level reaching the proper height or is it a faulty pressure switch or something else?

This model has a diagnostic built onto the inverter which is on the motor. Take off the front panel by inserting a thin putty knife in the gap between the top and front near the edges to release the clips that hold the front panel on.

Then use this guide

to see if there are error codes.

Thanks,

There are no error codes with my washer.

This is pretty unusual. I think you control unit or the electronics on your motor are at fault, but I would start by replacing the pressure switch and make sure you have cleaned out the air bell where the tube connects to the tub and air tube that goes to the switch. This the most inexpensive repair, so let’s start there.
